BOTC, or Battle of the Classes, is a beloved high school tradition where the grade levels compete in various events to prove who reigns supreme. The competition is packed with school spirit, teamwork, and fun activities. BOTC is more than just a competition, it’s a celebration of school pride and unity!
What Happens in BOTC: Each class faces off in physical games and creative challenges. Each class competes in various events during the main events, which include a skit of your class theme, dodgeball, crowd support, and many other activities.
Hallway Decoration: Each grade decorates a hallway with their assigned class color and a theme voted on by the class.
The colors are:
Seniors: Green Juniors: Blue Sophomores: Red Freshmen: Purple
Powderpuff Football: A game where students showcase their skills in competitive matches, where girls from every class go head to head in a game of flag football.
Macho Volleyball: A fun twist on volleyball, where the classes go for the gold with several rounds of volleyball. The crowds rally around their teams on the court to show support.
The Main Event: The grand finale determines the ultimate winner through many competitions, including the
annual dodgeball tournament and skit.
Winning BOTC: Each class earns points through their performance in games, decorations, and participation. The class with the most points at the end of the Main Event is crowned BOTC Champion! Get ready to cheer, compete, and make memories!
