Football Recap: A Season to Remember

Tigers barely miss playoffs, but score Conference Awards

Your Varsity Football Boys ended their incredible season with not only seven wins to three losses, but they also won The ‘Sportsmanship’ Award from the Emerald Sound Conference for their motivation and teamwork. Overall, these boys had some great achievements this past season.

For one, they successfully brought home the ‘Black and Blue’ Bowl trophy after beating the Sultan Turks 31-21 in the annual rival game. That’s a big deal around these parts.

We also had multiple Tigers – and their head coach – win awards for their hard work. Congratulations to seniors Kaden LaPlaunt, Johnathan Roberts, and James Porter for winning Emerald Sound Conference Awards for All Offense, as well as Seniors Bradley Kehoe and Connor Gillen for winning Emerald Sound Conference Awards for All Defense. A special shout out to the football team’s head coach Brandon Davis for winning Emerald Sound Conference Coach of the year Award.

These boys fought hard for months, and despite having to play some tough teams, they came through with a well deserved and well played season. Great job Tigers!
