FCCLA stands for Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America, and the students have been working tirelessly to prepare for their competitions. In their first competition, which they hosted, the students earned silver and bronze medals for their events! Nine students qualified to make it to state, which will occur from March 3rd to 7th. These students will compete in the following events: event management, culinary, baking and pastry, food innovation, repurposing, and redesign. We wish them the best of luck!
As for FBLA, which stands for Future Business Leaders of America, we congratulate them for making it to state too! The students that made it will be competing in the following events: Accounting I, Accounting II, Business Law, Financial Math, Healthcare Administration, Public Policy & Advocacy, Website Coding & Development, Data Analysis, and Intro to Social Media Strategies. Due to wildcards, they will also be competing in visual design! As for when they compete, they compete April 23rd-26th. We also wish them the best of luck!
